Most hotels in the White Plains/Elmsford/Tarrytown area require a guaranteed number of rooms to offer a specific event discount.  Since most of our vendors and attendees come just for the day, we have not been able to meet their minimums....

Although none have committed to offering special discounts for expo attendees, many do offer special weekend and AAA discounts- be sure to ask about any special deals that might be in effect!  I have also found www.TripAdvisor.com to be a very useful booking tool. Do a search for a particular hotel, and then do their rate comparison, which will search multiple booking sites.  Some very good deals often show up there!

In the past, the Hampton Inn in Elmsford (914 592-5680) has offered a discount for reptile expo vendors and attendees, and does not fuss about discreetly packaged herps.

If they are full, some other hotels in the area that have been popular in the past with our vendors include the Courtyard by Marriott in Elmsford(914 631-1122), Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains(914 682-0050), and Ramada Inn (914 592-3300).  All are less than 10 minutes from the Westchester County Center. 

 Be sure to be discreet with your animals! None of the hotels other than the Hampton have given specific permission regarding live animals, and even these two hotels require that animals and cages be discreetly covered.
